Introduction to CAF/Social Care Thresholds and MASH Workshop for Multi-Agency professionals

Date: 26th November 2014

Location: North London Business Park, Oakleigh Road South, London N11 1NP

Time: 09:30 - 12:30

All professionals working with children or parents have a duty to promote the safeguarding of children and to act on any concerns they might have.

In practice, this can prove to be complex and challenging because of the myriad of circumstances and risks that can affect children and young people and the responses that follow. It is acknowledged that the thresholds for statutory services may not always seem clear and can be experienced as confusing.

The recent Laming report has highlighted the need for the front door of services to be safe and welcoming.
It is essential therefore that practitioners are equipped with knowledge and understanding of the thresholds for statutory intervention and how this links with early intervention services so that they know how and when to make a referral.

For further information please visit the Social Care Thresholds Workshop for Multi-Agency Professionals  page.
