Arts funding
We provide funding up to £5,000 to voluntary organisations for community projects including arts in Barnet. Applicants must be able to demonstrate how their project meets the council corporate objectives.
Milly Apthorp Charitable Trust funds community projects including arts projects as well as to individuals who have particular needs. Information on the above can be obtained from the Grants Unit using the details opposite.
Other sources of funding available for the arts include:
- Arts council grants for the arts – for project funding up to £100,000 for organisations and up to £30,000 for individual artists.
- Heritage lottery – can provide funding where heritage is the focus of the project.
- Awards for All – for funding small organisations up to £10,000
- Film London supports film productions from experimental work to narrative factions, animation and documentaries
- Jack Petchey Foundation project grants can fund projects in North London that benefit young people
