Barnet House is an eleven storey, glass and concrete ‘L’ shaped office block. On arrival report to the reception staff who will telephone through to your contact. There is very limited staff parking and only a small visitors car park. On street parking is very difficult in this area, so please allow time for this.

By Car

Approaching from the M1, Southbound

Leave at Junction 4 onto the A41 (southbound) until you reach the Apex Corner roundabout. Turn left, northwards, onto the A1 and immediately turn right into A5109 (Marsh Lane). Continue on this road until you reach the junction with A1000 (High Road). At the traffic lights turn right, southwards (towards North Finchley), and immediately right again into Baxendale. Barnet House is on your right.

Approaching from the M25

Leave at Junction 23 heading southbound on the A1081 (St Albans Road). Continue straight into the High Street till the junction of Barnet Hill (A1000) and A411 (Wood Street). Turn left into A1000 (Barnet Hill) and follow this road to Whetstone and the junction with A5109 (Totteridge Lane). Barnet House is on the right in Baxendale just after the junction.

Approaching from the North Circular Road (A406)

Travelling eastwards or westwards, leave the A406 (North Circular Road) at “Henlys Corner” (junction with Regents Park Road/ Finchley Road). Turn northwards onto A598 (Regents Park Road) and continue northwards through Church End and North Finchley where the road merges with the A1000 (High Road) towards Whetstone. Turn left just after the B&Q superstore into Baxendale, Barnet House is on the right.

By Train

The nearest train station is Oakleigh Park which is a 15-20 minute walk.
Alternatively, take the 383 from outside the station to The Griffin (Whetstone) near Barnet House.

By Underground Railway

The nearest underground station is Totteridge & Whetstone on the Northern Line (High Barnet Branch) which is a 5 minute walk.
On leaving Totteridge & Whetstone station turn left and walk some 400 metres uphill to the cross roads, turn right and find the entrance to Barnet House on the High Road.

By Bus

Buses 34, 125, 234, 251, 263, 326 and 383 stop near The Griffin (Whetstone) near Barnet House.

A self-service video/telephone link at Barnet House could help you.

The computer-based facility is called Sign Video and provides BSL (British Sign Language) interpreters through the use of video-conferencing equipment, and saves the need for you to arrange another future appointment if you are unable to hear.

You can use the service to interpret a conversation you are having with a hearing member of staff. The service is open from 9am to 5pm, Monday to Friday (except Bank Holidays).
