Drugs advisory service
Barnet Drug and Alcohol Service offers support around drug and alcohol related problems.
The service is confidential.
Services include:
- Full assessment of treatment needs for drug and alcohol users;
- Individual support;
- Assessment for funding for detox and rehabilitation programmes;
- Detoxification and maintenance programmes;
- Liaison and shared care with GPs;
- Acupuncture and herbal teas;
- Referral to other services;
- Health information on HIV/AIDS/Hepatitis (immunisation and testing);
- Sexual health information and condoms.
