This event is part of our City Read London 2014 season. Each April, City Read asks London’s citizens, workers and visitors to pick up a book – the same book - and read it together. This year we commemorate the centenary of WW1 by reading Louisa Young's "My dear I wanted to tell you" and Michael Morpurgo's "Private Peaceful".

Following their successful performance of Anne Cleeve's the Glass Room at Church End library in June, the Guild Players return for what promises to be another captivating performance, exploring ordinary people's experiences of the 1st World War through drama and song.
