Q1. What is the London Plan?
The Mayor for London has produced a ‘spatial development strategy’ for the capital called, 'The London Plan'.
It is the strategic plan for London, which sets out an integrated social, economic and environmental framework for the future development of London.
The London Plan replaces existing regional planning guidance, and boroughs’ development plans must be in ‘general conformity’ with it.
