What is priority need for a homeless person?
You have a priority need if you are homeless and:
- you have a dependent child living with you, or someone in your household is expecting a baby
- you are homeless because of an emergency such as a fire or flood
- you are vulnerable because of your age, mental or physical illness or disability or other special reason, which could include being a victim of violence or you have spent time in care, the armed forces, prison or custody.
