Is there any incentive for me to move?

Yes, through the Fresh Start scheme we encourage Barnet Homes tenants who would like to move out from a home with two or more bedrooms to a smaller one by offering them up to £4,000. You receive £1,500 for giving up one bedroom, plus £1,000 for each extra bedroom. We pay an extra £500 if you give up a home with three or more bedrooms to move to a studio or one-bedroom property. There is no limit on the number of homes you can bid for and we can also arrange the removal for you.
