If there are parking controls, where can I load?
Loading can take place in yellow-lined restricted streets as long as there is no specific loading restriction shown on signs and markings on the kerb.
Vehicles can also wait in parking places to load. When loading, the vehicle must not cause a danger or an obstruction – this can be enforced by the police. The maximum time allowed to load is 20 minutes.
Vehicles cannot load on zigzags at crossings, at keep clear markings at school and other entrances during times shown, and at restricted “no stopping” bus stops or cab ranks.
