My car was clamped in a private car park. What can you do about it?
This is a matter between you and the landowner or the landowner’s agent or contractor. The Government has regulated clamping and removal from private land and from 2005 operators have had to be licensed.
However the council is not involved in the licensing process and is not involved in such enforcement activities.
