There are no signs showing when the yellow line is restricted. Is it OK to park there?
Probably not. Check to see if you are in a Controlled Parking Zone (CPZ) – are there any Resident bays or meter bays nearby? If you are in a CPZ, the restricted times are shown on signs at all entry points to the zone, as stated in the Highway Code.
There is no requirement to individually sign yellow line restrictions in a CPZ unless the restrictions of that yellow line differ to those stated on the CPZ entry plate.
