We said:
"There may be a small impact on the delivery of some council services due to national strike action being held on July 16 and 17. A clearer picture will emerge on the day itself, but the council is expecting to continue to deliver all its core services, such as refuse collection and street cleaning.
A small number of schools and Children's Centres will be closed and ten libraries will be closed. The Church Farmhouse Museum is also going to be closed.
Information on the impact of the strikes will be updated on the council website throughout the two days of action. Residents are advised to check the website or contact us directly using the details to the left if they have any enquiries about service delivery.
The council apologises for any inconvenience caused to residents by the strike and we are confident that services will return to normal very quickly."
