Highlights - National Tackling Drugs Week: 19 - 23 May
National Tackling Drugs Week, was held between 19 and 23 May 2008, to raise awareness of the work being undertaken by agencies to tackle drugs and reduce drug related crime.
Representatives from Barnet Council, Barnet Police and Barnet’s Primary Care Trust showed communities how they tackled drug misuse in their local area.
Members of Barnet’s Community Safety Team, Community Engagement Team and Safer Neighbourhood Teams advised and provided information on:
- services that exist in the borough
- the health implications and effects that drugs can have
- how you can report drug related anti social behaviour
- reporting local issues and concerns.
