There are a number of ways in which members of the public can engage with local democracy in Barnet.

Information on Barnet's Councillors, together with agenda and reports for Committee meetings, are available on our dedicated Governance pages. 

Council Constitution

Decision-making in Barnet is governed by the Council's Constitution.  The Constitution includes the Public Participation Rules which give details of the procedure for asking questions and making comments at committee meetings, and Barnet's provisions around petitions.

E-Petitions

Petitions can be submitted electronically using the council's E-Petitions Facility.
