Burnt Oak town centre has a large number of independent retailers. It also has a popular regular market - Watling Market – which is held behind Burnt Oak tube station every Saturday.

Burnt Oak town centre is served by Burnt Oak underground station on the Edgware branch of the northern line. Edgware underground station is located in Watling Avenue and there is also a pay and display car park.
