Cricklewood Town Centre
Cricklewood town centre offers a range of independent stores and various leisure activities. Cricklewood Rail Station is nearby and is served by First Capital Connect, which is part of the Thameslink line service.
Future plans for Cricklewood
The Cricklewood, Brent Cross and West Hendon regeneration scheme aims to rejuvenate Cricklewood town centre. The nearby roofed-in Brent Cross shopping centre will be expanded and opened up, and its main precinct will become the high street of a new town centre in North London.
This will result in 7,500 new homes, a new commercial district and will create some 20,000 new jobs over the next 20 years. A Planning Application was submitted in March 2008 and development will commence in 2010.
