Opening opportunities to your child
The Activities Support Fund gives your child the chance to take part in a wide range of clubs and activities both inside and outside your school.
You are able to apply for support funding if:
- you are receiving income support
- your child is getting free school meals.

What is it?
The fund is a mix of free access to existing activities in and around schools and developing new activities that your child might have always wanted to do, for example:
- learning to play a musical instrument
- trying a new sport
- going on a school trip.
What have children been enjoying with fund contributions?
Here are just some of the things that children have already enjoyed:
- holiday camps
- trampolining
- arts and crafts clubs
- street dance
- and swimming days out.
