Childcare and education
The Hyde Children's Centre provides 28 places for children aged two years to three-years-old. We are committed to delivering a sound early years experience for all children and families, with parents as partners involved in their learning.
Children attend the Children's Centre all year round or term time only. If you choose term time only, your child will only attend during school term dates.
Adult learning and parenting support
Regular parenting support courses, designed to help parents gain confidence and enjoy their parenting role, are run by The Hyde staff and partner agencies including Barnet College. These courses have included communicating with your child, first aid for babies and young children and ESOL (English for speakers of other languages). There have also been courses on developing IT skills and return to work skills.
Parents attending our courses can also take advantage of our crèche.
