Wingfield Children's Centre
Wingfield Children's Centre was the first of Barnet’s 13 Children’s Centres and is very much at the heart of its community. It aims to give the under-fives the best possible start in life by offering them and their families every support – and all under one roof.

What we do
Please note as of 1 April 2011 Wingfield Children's Centre will also be providing activities/services from Canada Villa.

Childcare and education
We provide the equivalent of 16 full-time childcare places for two to three-year-olds and 16 full-time places and 16 part-time places for three to five-year-olds.

Adult learning and parenting support
Courses are run in conjunction with providers such as Barnet College and Family Learning. These courses have included first aid, complimentary therapy and ESOL (English for speakers of other languages).
Parents attending our courses can also take advantage of our crèche.

Health services
The centre is used by midwives and health visitors for both ante-natal and post natal care. Appointments can be booked via Edgware Birth Centre on 020 8732 6734.
Other services
Other services we offer include:

We are open all year round from 8am – 6pm Monday to Friday.
