What we do
The Civil Partnership Act 2004 came into
force on 5 December 2005 and allows same-sex couples to obtain legal recognition. For full background

You can now give notice of your intention to form a Civil Partnership at your local Register Office. The law provides for the signing of the Civil Partnership Register in the presence of at least two witnesses.This can be done in any Register Office or approved premises for marriage.
You may also wish to hold a ceremony or a celebration to mark this important event in your lives.
