Coming to Golders Green you will find
Not the place you had in mind
Different cultures, shops and food
Will put you in a relaxed mood
Enjoy a stroll, no need to go far
Explore the area, forget the car
There’s Golders Hill Park a short walk away
Just take a picnic and stay all day
See the wildlife, and flowers all in bloom
Hear the band playing a foot-tapping tune
Then as the days turns into night
Back into town for a welcoming bite
With restaurants galore whatever your taste
No need to hurry, take a leisurely pace
To round off the evening a comforting drink
I know just the place before you can blink
The Old Bull and Bush, that famous sight
Will take you well into the night
And so home to bed, perchance to dream
Of the wonderful day you had in Golders Green!
