Civic awards ceremony 2007

Civic Awards LogoWe held our 9th Civic Awards Ceremony on February 11th 2009. The Civic Awards are presented to the borough’s unsung heroes – volunteers who go ‘the extra mile’ in recognition of their service to the local community.

The Mayor, Cllr John Marshall, presented fifty nominees, who either work or live in Barnet, with certificates to acknowledge their efforts and thanked them for enriching the life of the Borough. Of the fifty nominees, seven outstanding individuals received framed awards for their contribution to Barnet.
