Barnet Council doesn’t offer any bereavement services at present but if you would like advice about where to turn after the death of a loved one, the staff at Hendon Cemetery and Crematorium will be pleased to help you in any way they can.
Alternatively the Direct Gov website will give you information on what your rights and responsibilities are after a bereavement.
Information on financial help available for the bereaved can be found at HM Revenue and Customs website.
It may help if you are struggling to cope with the loss of a loved one to see your family doctor. There are lots of organisations that can help you come to terms with your loss and it may help to seek bereavement counselling and support.
