Buying a grave
It is possible to purchase a grave long before it might be used. If there is a particular part of the cemetery you like or if you wish to be buried near loved ones, planning ahead may help your family in the future.
If you would like to find out more about purchasing a grave you can either come in to the Cemetery Office, where the staff will be pleased to assist you. Or contact us by phone, email or letter using the contact details in the left menu.
It is not a requirement that a grave be purchased in advance and it may be purchased by relatives after a bereavement.
Hendon Cemetery provides grave space to people from any religious background and has special areas set aside for Greek Orthodox and Muslim burials.
