Diversity Monitoring Protocol
The purpose of the Diversity Monitoring Protocol 
(PDF: 228 KB) is to assist council staff in using age, disability, ethnicity, faith/belief, gender and sexual orientation catergories when collating information about service users/non-users and residents.
Diversity monitoring enables us to:
- identify the different needs of its diverse communities
- demonstrate how services are delivered in a fair and equal way to all out customers
- shape new and existing services around customer needs
- find out whether customer satisfaction rates vary between different communities.
