Youth Support Services in Barnet
Drop in services
Our young people’s drop-in centres provide a confidential place for young people to speak to a youth support worker about housing, relationships, careers, sexual health advice, drugs, alcohol or whatever is on their mind, without making an appointment. We also provide a confidential, free counselling service for young people at Woodhouse Road Young People's Centre (address below)
Please contact the centres for the latest information about times of opening. Young people can drop-in without appointment during opening hours.

Targeted Youth Workers
Our youth workers provide individual, targeted help to young people on a range of issues. See the youth support map

Activities
We provide free activities after school and in the holidays; including sports, arts, music, fashion and adventure; fun activities that improve confidence and build skills.

Finchley Youth Theatre
The youth theatre is a friendly, supportive environment - no auditions necessary- and we welcome all young people in Barnet who want to explore the creative arts. There is no need to have prior experience and we only ask that they call beforehand to book a place for one of the courses in dance, drama, film or circus. The weekly cost of one session is £4, and we are happy to offer reduced or free rates if needed - please just let us know.

Rithmik Music Studio at Canada Villa Young People’s Centre
Rithmik runs open sessions for young people who want to learn basic music production skills as well as sessions for those with more experience.
