Best Value performance information
The Local Government White Paper "Strong and Prosperous Communities" was published in October 2006 which announced a new set of streamlined performance indicators that would reflect national priority outcomes for local authorities working alone or in partnership.
A single set of 188 national indicators were introduced with effect from April 2008 which replaced the existing Best Value Performance indicators.
We no longer have a statutory duty to publish a Best Value Performance Plan and the last one to be published was in June 2008.
This post audit version shows outturn against national Best Value Performance Indicators for the financial year 2007/08 and comparison against top performing England Councils for 2007/08.
