Community Halls and Meeting Spaces Assessment
Who's running the consultation and why
The Barnet Planning Policy Team in collaboration with Barnet Voluntary Services Council, are conducting a questionnaire survey in order to understand better the present situation with regards to community meeting spaces within Barnet. This will help us to plan for Barnet’s future needs.
The aim of the questionnaire survey is to:
- identify specific issues regarding community meeting spaces
- measure the number, distribution and quality of community meeting spaces within the borough
- establish a clear picture of social infrastructure in Barnet at the present time, and use this evidence to further develop our planning policy framework.
The findings will eventually form part of the evidence base for Barnet’s Local Development Framework, the planning policy framework for the area.
