LDF Employment land study survey
Consultation period: 12 January - 23 January 2009
As part of the evidence base which will inform the Local Development Framework (LDF), we are currently undertaking an employment land review of the borough. The aim of the study is to understand the borough's current and future employment land requirements and to identify how these can be successfully achieved.
This review process involves engaging:
- economic partners,
- business partners, and
- policy partners
The aim is to assess the borough's employment growth prospects and how they can be best met. For this reason, and as part of the consultation process, we have an online survey (external link).
We would be grateful if you would spend a few minutes filling it in and sending us your response by Friday 23 January 2009.
Stakeholder consultation
The aim of the stakeholder consultation which is in the form of a workshop, will be to:
- gain an in-depth understanding of the business activities that have the capacity and potential to achieve significant job growth,
- investment patterns that will facilitate job growth,
- interventions required to support job creation and
- the relationship between future housing and employment growth under the principles of sustainable development.
