Comprehensive Area Assessment (CAA)
Comprehensive Area Assessment (CAA) is the system used by the Audit Commission for annually assessing how well the council and other public services are working together to improve the area.
CAA comprises an Area Assessment and Organisational Assessments for different public services. The Council’s Organisational Assessment combines judgements on the Council’s Use of Resources and how it manages performance.
Barnet has completed a self-assessment of the state of the Borough and how the Council and its partners are working together to meet the challenges ahead.
The first CAA results for Barnet will be published on www.audit-commission.gov.uk (external link) in December.
