Responsibilities
- Executive Director responsible for co-ordinating the work of the Service Directors and Heads of Service within his domain, supporting the council’s community leadership role and helping to design and manage the borough’s future.
- Leading on the council’s corporate priority of Creating a Successful Suburb, in order to manage the borough’s 30,000 increase in population over the next 10 years. Negotiating with other government departments and agencies; the GLA family, in particular TfL; and other statutory bodies and the utility companies.
- Ensuring public and private sector investment in the borough’s physical infrastructure.
- Deputises for the Chief Executive in his absence.
