Making Barnet cleaner, greener and safer by providing refuse collection, including trade and clinical waste, and street cleansing services.
Remove and prosecute for fly tipping, graffiti and enviro-crime.
Deliver parks and open spaces development, including allotments, sports and other open space facilities, playgrounds, cafes, golf courses, grounds maintenance and the management of the boroughs trees.
Develop and implement the Borough’s waste prevention and recycling strategies, including provision of civic amenity site and recycling services.
Provision and management of Town Centre CCTV services.
Repair roads and pavements by delivering major improvements to the Borough’s roads, manage traffic and transportation in the Borough, liaision with Transport for London.
Maintenance and renewal of all Highway Assets inclusive of infrastructure, street lighting, drainage, parking and parking controls.
Development and maintenance of corporate buildings, including schools and libraries and overall energy management.
Leading on transport improvements to manage our future movement requirements and support the delivery of new development across the borough.
