Local government elections Thursday 6 May 2010
Local government elections took place across London on Thursday 6 May 2010. Residents elected 63 Councillors to represent the 21 wards in Barnet.
Parliamentary election Thursday 6 May 2010
The Parliamentary election was held on 6 May 2010. Voters in Barnet elected three MP's, one to represent each of the three constituencies in the borough. The constituencies within Barnet are:
- Chipping Barnet
- Finchley and Golders Green
- Hendon.

Elections 2009
On 4 June 2009 residents in Barnet went to the polls to elect MEP's to represent the London region in the European Parliament election. Two by-elections were also held in Totteridge and Edgware wards.
