Following the 4 May local elections, the composition of the council is now as follows:

Conservatives - 37 seats
Labour - 20 seats
Liberal Democrats - 6 seats

The Conservative group has a majority of 11.

Highest turnout by ward: High Barnet - 49.95%
Lowest turnout by ward: Colindale - 30.99%
