The review of polling districts and polling places (Parliamentary Elections) Regulations 2006
In accordance with the requirements of section 18C(1) of the Representation of the People Act 1983, notice is hereby given that the London Borough of Barnet is undertaking a review of polling districts and polling places for use in connection with parliamentary elections held within the Chipping Barnet, Finchley & Golders Green and Hendon parliamentary constituencies.
The review will commence on 15th June 2011 and will be completed in sufficient time to enable the Electoral Registration Officer to make any alterations necessary to the register of electors when it is next fully revised by 1st December 2011.
Representations will be sought from the Acting Returning Officer for the three parliamentary constituencies, and from persons who are considered to have particular expertise in relation to access to premises or facilities for persons who have different forms of disability.
In addition, any elector registered in the area of the London Borough of Barnet may make representations to the Electoral Registration Office.
The details of the existing electoral arrangements are available for inspection between the hours of 10:00am and 4:00pm on any normal working day at the Electoral Registration Office. Representations on the existing arrangements should be made in writing to the Electoral Registration Office no later than 30th June 2011.
Details of representations received will be made available for inspection.
