The Review of Polling Districts and Polling Places (Parliamentary Elections) Regulations 2006
In accordance with the requirements of section 18C(1) of the Representation of the People Act 1983, notice was given that the London Borough of Barnet is undertaking a review of polling districts and polling places for use in connection with parliamentary elections held within the:
- Chipping Barnet
- Finchley and Golders Green
- Hendon parliamentary constituencies.
The review commenced on 1 July and closed 31 July 2007.
Representations were sought from the Acting Returning Officer for the three parliamentary constituencies, and from persons who are considered to have particular expertise in relation to access to premises or facilities for persons who have different forms of disability.
In addition, any elector registered in the area of the London Borough of Barnet were invited to make representations to the Electoral Registration Office no later than 31 July 2007
Details of representations received will be made available for inspection.
