Contributions to Education SPD
The Contributions to Education Supplementary Planning Document (SPD) was adopted on 5 June 2008.
A Supplementary Planning Document (SPD) on Contributions to Education (Updated January 2010)
(PDF:436KB) was prepared as part of the Local Development Framework (LDF). The LDF will form the basis for planning decisions within the borough.
The Contributions to Education SPD which was adopted on the 5 June 2008 will also supplement the policies and proposals of the Adopted May 2006 Unitary Development Plan (UDP) and The London Plan Spatial Development Strategy for Greater London adopted in July 2011 (external link),Together these form the Development Plan for the borough.
We have also prepared a Sustainabilty Appraisal (PDF:191KB) in conjunction with the document. This explains why the council has prepared the SPD on Contributions to Education.We have also produced an Adoption Statement (PDF:205KB) and a Consultation Statement (PDF:107KB) as required by the Town and Country Planning (Local Development) (England) Regulations 2004.
You can view our responses to the comments received during the consultation period. Copies of these documents can also be viewed at the reception area of the Planning, Housing and Regeneration Service and in all Barnet libraries.
