Notice of Adoption of London Borough of Barnet, Unitary Development Plan
On 18 May 2006 London Borough of Barnet adopted this plan. The Secretary of State was satisfied that the necessary modifications had been made to comply with his direction to the authority to modify the plan.
The adopted plan will form the development plan for the area of Barnet. The development plan forms the basis for decisions on land use planning affecting that area.
Copies of the adopted plan and of the Secretary of State’s notification that he was satisfied with the modifications made to comply with his direction are available for inspection at:
- Barnet House
- Edgware Library
- Hendon Library
- The Town Hall
- Golders Green Library (not on Mondays)
- Other libraries
- All other local libraries in Barnet, free of charge, between the hours 9.00am and 5.00pm from Monday to Friday (for later opening hours please check with your local library).
The plan came into operation on 18 May 2006.
A person aggrieved by the proposals who desires to question their validity on the ground that they are not within the powers conferred by Part II of the Town and Country Planning Act 1990 or that any requirement of that Act or any regulation made under it has been complied with in relation to the adoption of the proposals, may, within six weeks from 18 May 2006, make an application to the High Court under section 287 of the 1990 Act.
