Education continues to be one of the council’s highest priorities.
We are proud of the achievements of all our schools and will continue to work in partnership with them to improve standards.
For example, we are working on an exciting and innovative programme (PSCIP) - to rebuild or refurbish primary schools in the borough with the aim of creating high quality learning environments.
Barnet schools have some of the most successful high-achieving pupils in the country sitting alongside a sizeable minority who will get fewer than 5 good grade GCSEs.
This difference in achievement can last a lifetime. Your council intends to close that gap and help ensure everyone in our community gets the chance to reach their full potential.
