Services we provide
- Provide suitably qualified instrumental teachers to Barnet schools and Music Centres*
- Manage the standard of their teaching
- Hire instruments out to children receiving lessons from the Music Service teachers in Barnet schools*
- Run three Music Centres and a number of mid week orchestras and ensembles to provide a range of ensemble experience to children who already play an instrument*
- Offer three free choirs on Saturday mornings at Music Centres
- Offer rock and pop group and jazz ensemble opportunities on Saturday mornings*
- Organise major concerts and workshops for children in Barnet schools and Music Centres*
- Offer young music maker classes at Music Centres on Saturday mornings for 4-7 year olds*
*NB A charge may be payable
Services we don't provide
- Hire instruments to children having lessons privately outside of school
- Keep a register of private teachers numbers to give out to the public
