Young people's organised activities
There are many activities for children and young people in Barnet. The 'Things to Do' directory is a comprehensive list of activities published annually.
Free community sports programmes
This ongoing programme provides:
- Access to free, first class, structured sports coaching with exit routes to local clubs for young people in targeted areas identified by the police
- Young people aged 16 plus have the opportunity to take Football Association (FA) coaching awards followed by work experience leading to possible paid employment.

Free Kick
Football coaching for boys and girls aged eight to 14
- If you enjoy playing football in a safe and friendly environment
- Want to learn and improve on your skills
- Just want to play matches then this is for you!
Places on this course are FREE
There is no need to book. Just turn up with your registration form (see overleaf). Places will be allocated on a first come first served basis)
- These sessions are free
- Everyone is welcome, boys and girls of all abilities
- Simply turn up and play
- Learn new skills and improve with experienced qualified F.A coaches
- Play matches and enter tournaments
- All coaches hold an enhanced CRB police clearance and first aid certificate.
