Annual Parent Partnership conference
Parent Partnership will be holding their annual conference for parents of children with special educational needs on Wednesday 16 May 2012, at the North London Business Park.
There will be a variety of workshops and a chance for you talk with organisations that can offer help to you and your children. More details will be available in April–when you will be able to make a booking.

Workshops to support dyslexic children
Children will Shine is a project run by the British Dyslexia Association (BDA) to offer specialist teaching for Dyslexic Children in London and Manchester. The BDA will work with teachers, teaching assistants and parents, to set up after school workshops to support dyslexic children.
These workshops will enable dyslexic children to:
- be included in a specialist teaching program to help them with learning
- access self-esteem support
- reach their potential as a dyslexic.
The date of the next Dyslexia meeting will be held on Thursday 2 February 2012 from 10 am - 12 noon at the South Friern Barnet Library, Colney Hatch Lane, N10 1HD.

As a project run by the BDA, its vision is for a dyslexic friendly society where all dyslexics reach their potential. If you would like to get involved, or request a place for your child on this project, please complete the form below. The Southwark workshop will be held on Tuesday evenings 4-6pm at St Barnabas Church Hall in Dulwich. Pre-booking is required. The project will commence in February 2011.

Statutory Assessments workshops
Parent Partnership will be running workshops for parents on Statutory Assessments from Wednesday 9 November 2011.
The sessions will be three hours long and will give an in depth guide to applying for Statutory Assessments and what to, including in parental advice.
