eAdmissions
You can apply online for Reception Class 2011 and Secondary Transfer 2011 via the eAdmissions site (available from 1 September 2010). If you are applying for any other year group you must complete the in-year application form.
Closing dates
- Secondary school transfer applications is 31 October 2010
- Primary school applications is 15 January 2011.
The online system will accept on-time applications up until midnight on the given date, any application submitted after the closing date will be treated as late and you will receive a warning message to notify you of this. Please note that if you make an application online you do not need to complete a paper Common Application Form, though if you apply to any voluntary aided or foundation schools or academies you will still be required to complete the schools' own Supplementary Information Form (SIF).
Benefits of applying online
- it's quick, easy and secure
- you can access it anywhere that has an internet connection (if you do not have internet access at home it is available at many Barnet libraries free of charge)
- there's no risk that the application will get lost in the post
- you can change the application at any time (up to the closing date for applications)
- the system helps you by automatically checking for errors
- you can monitor your application and check its progress
- you will get an email confirmation that your application has been received
- you can see the result of your application online rather than waiting for a letter to arrive in the post.
