- requires a dedicated computer, printer and barcode reader
- use a specialist system which should be user friendly and facilitate importing of catalogue records from a database
- a good system will encourage use of the library and help develop library skills – you may wish to consider:
- Micro librarian systems - Junior librarian (0161 449 9357)
- Alice Junior (0 1993 883401)
- Accessit (01895 819306)
- the SLRS may be able to facilitate discounted prices on the above systems to subscribing schools
