Parks and open spaces
We have over 200 green spaces in the London Borough of Barnet, covering 848 hectares. This includes 16 Premier Parks.
Seven of these have achieved a Green Flag Award for 2008-2009.

There are many opportunities to take part in a range of activities in the parks and open spaces in the borough. Whether you want to take in the fresh air of the countryside or enjoy a restful afternoon in the park, we hope you enjoy your visit.
There are also a variety of community events including festivals, funfairs and circuses held in parks every year.
Friends of Parks Scheme
We encourage residents to put forward suggestions for the management and maintenance of their local park or open space.
