Schools poster competition 2007 - Winners

Following the huge success of the schools poster competition in previous years, June saw its return. Pupils from all primary schools in Barnet and years 7 and 8 in Barnet secondary schools were invited to design a poster promoting one of  the materials that Barnet residents can recycle from home.

Having received over 500 posters it was not easy to decide the winners and runners up.

After much deliberation Nikita Taylor was chosen as the overall winner. Her poster will be professionally printed and displayed on large poster sites throughout Barnet in October 2007. In addition the winner from each age group will take their classmates on a trip to the i-Recycle Centre in Islington.
