Big Health Check Up Day - for people with learning disabilities: Thursday 4 February 2010

When? Thursday 4 February
What time? 12-5pm
Where? Emerald Suite, North London Business Park, Oakleigh Road South N11 1NP.

This event is for people with learning disabilities, their families and health staff and managers. The day will be used to:

talk about the 4 big health targets
look at how good our local health services are – or where they need to get better
make plans for how we will work to make things better
agree what people said at the Big Health Check Up Day and the plans for making health services better with the NHS Barnet Chief Executive and Partnership Board Chair(s). These plans will then be sent to NHS London.

Dementia Cafe

The Dementia Cafe provides information and support in an informal setting to people suffering from dementia and their carers, as well as health and social care professionals. It is somewhere that they can meet on ‘neutral ground’ and provide peer support to one another.
