Barnet Carers Centre provides a wide range of services including advice, information, practical and emotional support to carers of people who are ill, disabled or elderly. They also help former carers, for example, where the person cared for has moved into a residential home or died. The centre offers drop-in facilities, a telephone helpline as well as welfare benefits surgeries, relaxation days, “stressbuster evenings” and counselling. The centre acts as the umbrella organisation for carers’ support groups in the borough, and can provide information about groups which might be relevant for you.
Barnet Care and Support Service (BCASS)

Barnet Care and Support Services can provide trained and experienced care workers to support family carers caring for family members, adults or children, with physical or sensory disabilities, learning difficulties or mental health problems. A care worker can take over the responsibilities of the family carer for a short period during the day, evening or overnight to allow the carer to take a break. The respite breaks can be arranged to suit the carer's needs.

FIN offers information and advice about:
- service entitlement

Jewish Care offers the following services:

- Admiral Nurse Service - professionals qualified in dementia care providing support and advice to carers whom are caring for a relative suffering form dementia related illness

- Kennedy Leigh Home Care service providing personal care and practical tasks so that independent living is maintained for as long as possible.
