There are several support organisations in Barnet for people with a learning disability and their families.
Advocacy in Barnet
Advocacy in Barnet offer free support with things such as:
- obtaining services from health and local authority
- health and social care reviews
- making complaints
- independent living
They will speak on your behalf when necessary and attend meetings with you. They can also help with things such as letter writing and telephone calls.

Barnet People's Choice
Barnet People's Choice are the only independent self-advocacy organisation for people with a learning disability. People with learning disabilities are able to speak about issues that are affecting them and offer support to each other.
