Barnet Drug and Alcohol Service
Barnet Drug and Alcohol Service (BDAS) offers support for adults around drug and alcohol related problems.
The service is confidential.
This service provides:
- full assessment of treatment needs for drug and alcohol users
- individual support
- assessment for funding for detox and rehabilitation programmes
- detoxification and maintenance programmes
- liaison and shared care with GPs
- acupuncture and herbal teas
- referral to other services
- health information on HIV/AIDS/Hepatitis (immunisation and testing)
- sexual health information and condoms
- interpreting services.

Support for young people
Barnet Young People's Drug and Alcohol Service (BYPDAS)
Young people aged up to 18 can access this service for free and confidential advice about drugs and alcohol if they are concerned about how drugs and alcohol are affecting their own lives or their friends and family.
This service provides:
- information and support for families and carers, and advice for professionals
- a range of short term talking therapies tailored to the needs of the individual
- drug and alcohol education.
These services are delivered in a number of drop-in centres through Barnet including schools, youth services, GP practices and our main centre at:
- 207 Crescent Road, London, EN4 8SB.
