Scope of Service
Barnet Drug and Alcohol Service offers support around drug and alcohol related problems. The service is confidential.
Services include:
Full assessment of treatment needs for drug and alcohol users;
Individual support;
Assessment for funding for detox and rehabilitation programmes;
Detoxification and maintenance programmes;
Liaison and shared care with GPs;
Acupuncture and herbal teas;
Referral to other services;
Health information on HIV/AIDS/Hepatitis (immunisation and testing);
Sexual health information and condoms.
